In addition to the espresso machine you will need other coffee machines to create a fine and good espresso coffee. At least a bean grinder is needed. A good coffee is made with fresh ground beans. The quality of a grinder is essential! So don't buy a very cheap grinder, there are no good cheap grinders!

Most espresso machines have a steampipe to heat and steam the milk. You can easily experiment yourself, it is not so difficult to get the right cappuccino milk. But there are alternative devices that will steam the melk.

Are you really on to coffee: what do you think to roast the coffee beans yourself. Also for the consumer market there are coffee roasters available that do their job quiet well!
